VP Sales, AI-Based Cancer Diagnostics

We’re a Hamburg, Germany-based start-up with the mission to democratise cancer diagnostics. We apply artificial intelligence to improve pathologists‘ ability to identify cancer quickly and accurately.  We have been voted as one of the top 10 German startups of 2020 by the German Entrepreneurship Price Committee.

 

We solve one of the most pressing challenges in modern healthcare: Demands for medical image analysis are increasing rapidly, but the number of cancer experts remains stagnant. We build support tools for visual diagnosis using state-of-the-art deep learning. Mindpeak‘s tools help cancer experts deliver reliable and reproducible diagnoses and focus on areas where human expertise is indispensable.

 

Optimizing cancer diagnostics with machine learning is challenging and requires the brightest minds. At MindPeak, you will work closely with a team of industry experts in deep learning, pathology and entrepreneurship.

 

We need you to help shape the future of cancer diagnostics.

 

As a VP Sales, you become part of MindPeak’s management team. You will be responsible for building up our sales and distribution division. In addition, you will work hands-on with customers and form relations with channel- and development-partners. 

 

Your tasks:

  • Define and lead the execution of a growth strategy and responsible for ongoing Sales Territory management
  • Driving sales by finding and developing new customers
  • Building up and managing the sales team
  • Manage and expand existing channel and development partnerships
  • Develop new international partnerships and business plans
  • Define and negotiate partner business relationships
  • Arrange exhibitions and seminars at conferences

 

Your profile:

  • Proven track record of relevant work experience and leadership 
  • A thorough understanding of the diagnostics market
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of cancer diagnostics industry and histopathology is a plus
  • Growth mindset 
  • Resourceful, resilient, and ambitious
  • Ready to travel
  • Fluent in German and English
