We from Mindpeak are a start-up that creates diagnosis support tools in cancer diagnostics with artificial intelligence. Since 2017, our mission is to make microscopical and pathological analysis more efficient, precise and accessible for everyone.
With our team of currently 12 dedicated innovators and medical game changers, we build support tools for visual diagnosis using state-of-the-art deep learning. Our tools assist cancer experts in providing reliable and reproducible diagnoses. Optimizing cancer diagnostics with machine learning is challenging and requires the brightest minds. That’s why we want you.
Become part of MindPeak and shape with us the future of cancer diagnostics!
As a (Senior) Software Developer, Python and part of the dev team, you will be a key driver in building our tools for labs and shape our technologies from the start. There are big challenges in the field of digital pathology like large images with file sizes of several gigabytes per image and dimensions of 100.000 x 100.000 pixels. These need to be streamed efficiently by an image server and you will work on such solutions.
While the data science team at MindPeak focuses on the development of the machine learning models via AI, the dev team’s task is to ensure that these models are efficiently served as APIs and can be used by various stakeholders. You will be responsible for the development of our backend (and partly frontend) and will be working closely together with your colleagues of the data science team
A well-engineered product will be fundamental in our mission to make pathology accessible to everyone in the world. You will be directly reporting to the CIO.
