We from Mindpeak are a start-up that creates diagnosis support tools in cancer diagnostics with artificial intelligence. Since 2017, our mission is to make microscopical and pathological analysis more efficient, precise and accessible  for everyone.


With our team of currently 12 dedicated innovators and medical game changers, we build support tools for visual diagnosis using state-of-the-art deep learning. Our tools assist cancer experts in providing reliable and reproducible diagnoses. This frees specialists from tedious, repetitive tasks and allows them to focus on tasks where their human expertise is indispensable - which is essential taking the strong rise in demand for medical image analysis into account with a simultaneous stagnant number of cancer experts.

As a New Business Development Manager (m/w/d), you are at the core and heart of our business’ strategic expansion. You will be the interface between the experts in the lab and the product development and management teams and provide essential contributions to the development of our products. You will work hand in hand with MindPeak’s management team.


Your tasks:

  • Manage and maintain existing partnerships, ongoing development and pilot projects with laboratories, hospitals and distribution partners.
  • Build up and develop new partnerships on a national and international level - from first point of contact until negotiation of the contract and beyond
  • Create new business opportunities and pilot projects
  • Close management and development of partners and projects (on-site as well as off-site)
  • Communicate product updates and decisions to partners
  • Contribute to successful product development and potential process improvements through close collaboration and feedback from all touch points
  • Close collaboration and sparing partner to the management team


Your profile:

  • BSc degree or higher or equivalent practical experience (optimally in the field of healthcare or e.g. microbiology)
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, key account management and/or negotiating in the healthcare industry
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of cancer diagnosis and histopathology is a plus
  • A positive and can-do attitude
  • Plenty of initiative and the ability to self-motivate yourself
  • Job location is Hamburg. Readiness to relocate to Hamburg.
  • Ready to travel (approx 30-50%)
  • Fluent in German and English language
